It seems there is a problem with the onboard. I think the auto settings is meant for onboard sound and sound card installed disabling?

Posted 18 September – So I ended up buying a sound card and installing the drivers from the CD. ,2n68-am for posting back your solution.
Try to double check the bios settings just in case. Is it possible that the onboard sound has died or something?
